Opening tomorrow!

jamjarsandindishes

A flurry of last minute work and final touches and Lovejoy Bakers will swing wide its doors and welcome you with open arms.  In the meantime, and to whet your appetite, feast your eyes on samples of the homemade jams and chutneys we’ll be offering.

Back in late September when the sun still shone, we went to the Farmer’s market for the juiciest peaches we could find.  Voila.  Our all fruit Peach Butter was born.

Next up, tomato jam.  Made from the bounty of our’s and our friend’s own gardens.  In the mix are onions, ginger and a bit of heat.  Delicious paired with mascarpone or roast turkey on a crunchy levain.peachjamonciabattaBLackandWhite

So now that the rain’s back and it looks like it’s here to stay, take refuge in the warmth of our bakery.  It will take you back to sunnier times.
