A lazy Sunday afternoon it wasn’t. Lovejoy Bakers held our first baking class this past weekend and 8 students came prepared to roll up their sleeves and get to work. Head baker Shawn Trujillo delivered step-by-step instructions on how to prepare, shape and bake sweet Challah, Classic Baguette and Poppyseed Ficelle.
Note the pastry brush filled with egg wash in one hand and the glass of champagne in the other. By the end of the class our students mastered this technique!
